boat on plane quicker
Posted by admin on dec 31, 2012 in boat accessories, boating | 3 comments. even thou we sell mainly boat propellers, we are avid boaters as well and here is some advice we picked up: if you want your boat to get up and plane off quicker because it is too slow to do that or you want quicker starts to pull water skiers and or tubes & towables, you can do three things to accomplish that without. They are supposed to get boats on plane faster & save on fuel consumption also. they come both in one piece & 2 pieces that will bolt directly onto the lower unit. they are to help keep better control while on plane & by eliminating porpoising & chinewalking. there are several brands out there that can be picked up from wal-mart to any other. Having the stingray hyperfoil 500 on my boat makes up a lot of that disadvantage by putting me on plane before the lighter boats, and allowing me to reach my top speed even faster. it also allows me to run in shallower water. the stingray hyperfoil 500 helps keep my stern lifted and bow down so i can get on plane shallow and run shallow..
