Man, that 60 horse should plane that thing off no problem. i do know on my yamaha, when you want to trim it down, it seems like it takes forever for it to trim all the way down past the tilt position. but if you don't do it, the boat won't plane off very fast either. i would just make sure it is trimmed down all the way to your stop..
